How we found our dream home

Paul (my husband) and I spent countless weekends dragging our poor bored boys to different display homes trying to find a floor plan that ticked most of our boxes. We thought we had found our dream home with one the other builders.We walked through another Porter Davis display, the Rochedale, it ticked some of our boxes so I spoke to the lovely Bella and she said she would get her boss, Miriam to call me.I was a bit worried about speaking to someone in sales as I didn't want to be pushed into anything.Miriam called me back the following day and straight out asked me our budget and what we wanted in our home. She suggested the Charlton 33 with some floor plan changes. The minute I saw it I thought, this could be it!She told me to go and visit a display and get back to her with what I thought.The minute we got into the car to visit the display, the two older boys were fighting, our youngest was crying and i thought this better be worth it!The minute we entered the house all our moods changed, the boys LOVED it and were telling us all the things they liked begging us to "Please build this house". Paul and I were both blown away, with how many boxes it ticked.Our Wish list

• A backyard for the boys to play

• A Master bedroom with 2 walk-in wardrobes

• A study at the front of the house, so Paul can walk from home from time to time.

• A Guest Room

• A generous kitchen

• A separate living space for the boys

The Charlton 33 with the design option of Grand family, Laundry, Galley, extended kitchen and wide island bench, also adding a Separate W/C upstairs and Grand Alfresco and enclosing the downstairs lounge into a media room - which will be a toy room for a couple of year then a guest bedroom or media room down the track.Our block we purchased is 18m X 34m, so the boys will have an amazing amount of room to play soccer, footy, basketball and cricket with hopefully only a limited amount of balls going over the fence!!!Miriam has positions the house on the block but it has all our details on it so i have made up one myself, the floor plan is not 100% accurate, but the best i could do with my limited skills :)
